Try this with your venison..........
3 tbsp red currant jelly.
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce.
1 knob of butter.
1 tsp thyme.
1/2 tsp rosemary.
1/2 tsp savoury.
Melt the jelly and the butter over a low heat.
Now add all of the remaining ingredients.
Use as a basting sauce for any dark, wild game.
