    Howdy Folks,

New to this site as it so far has provided me a ton of information in what to look for and to identify a BSA rifle left to me by my father who passed away back in '75. I am a bit of a hunter going after Elk, Moose and Deer now which i use my .300 weatherby full time. The rifle itself was not touched from 75 to 87 when I came of age to get it from the storage company. I purchased my own new rifle back then and left this one in my gun cabinet until now when my son asked what it was and if he could use it. I joined this site in order to ask a few more questions and hopefully some good sole can help me with the rest.

Other than that, theres not much else as the other firearms I own are a CZ455 .22, a Ruger 10/22T and my Sako Hunter in the .300 weatherby caliber.

I currently reside in the Central Okanagan (Kelowna, BC ) but was raised in Calgary Alberta. My father was from the UK and until a few years ago had an Uncle (Roy Howard) living in Norwich. I've only been over there once where I spent a couple of weeks with relatives and spent the time tracing my Fathers roots before he imigrated to Canada.
