Is it just my imagination or poor memory ?
Out rough shooting yesterday morning and we kept seeing adult Roe does on their own and last yrs young ( generally in pairs ) fields away from the adult Roe does .
Im aware there could be several reasons ie; Mother has been shot , seperated by other activities ,demand for food but it does seem to me that the young have been pushed away and might be taking up thier own teritorys .
There also seems to be an increase in the number of bucks

I think your right, i have noticed this on two areas so far. young seem to be further from the mother than one would normally see (if there is such a thing as normal behavior)
what i have seen is a growth in twins and substantially better quality young, mild weathers definitively helped them on.
not seen a growth in any particular sex group but i shot less does last year so i should see a small increase in numbers i hope.
