Me and a couple of lads from my TA unit are doing Wales 3000 in March for H4H. Wales 3000 involves climbing 15 peaks all over 3000ft in under 24hrs and we shall be doing this dressed as lord of the rings characters for comic value . Use to do the 14 x 3000 peaks in the 1960's at least once a year, when I was leading a youth group. Lost a friend of mine to hyperthermia on one of the trips when we were caught in a hurricane on top of the Carnedds. Take care.

The Result

The money went off to H4H today; we managed £1578 in the end which I don’t think is too shabby. I just wanted to extend a massive thank you to those that donated.

We had a great time doing it and managed it in fractionally under 24 hrs. Thankfully it went without incident, other than somebody dropping their bergan of Cribb Goch.
