(Fi'Aberdeen that should have been 'heid'...)
I know he will be too modest to point this out himself but I think it deserves a wee mention.
This weeks issue of Shooting Times shows that the highest scoring head (shot, not found) measured not only in Scotland last year but for the whole of the country was Wolverines buck from Aberdeenshire, at 186.18 CIC points.
I know he has posted about the head on here already but what I think is deserved of a mention is the fact it was shot by someone who covers a lot of ground and shoots a lot of deer for management purposes, and not someone just going out looking for a trophy (not that there is anything wrong with that before I start a debate).
Like another couple of mates of mine who shoot one or two medal class bucks a year, it is nice to see that amongst the hard work of culling, they get the chance to take the trophy of a lifetime and show the fruits of their labour.
Well done mate and look forward to seeing it 'in the flesh' this weekend.
