Great picture. For some reason Tawny's are drawn to water, then fall in and cant get out once their soft plumage becomes waterlogged. One of the reasons why you should put an angled plank into a water trough, so they can climb out once they fall in. Nearly all the water troughs/barrels that I have seen drained have always had owl bones in. Tragic loss of life and all preventable by providing them with an escape ramp of some sort.
