Best county ?

parts of Herefordshire are good, ask 243varmint
my part of Herefordshire however is devoid of any Deer at all:doh:

 I doubt it!! Roe are in kent but I wouldnt say its the hot spot for Roe YET!

Anywhere along the Southern Counties, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Oxfordshire. Some of the biggest heads are to be found in Hampshire.

Good to hear that Sussex is OK, I'm in Scotland only once a year :)

No but you will become a good deer stalker looking for them ;)

You will need to look bloody hard in East kent Davie!! Roe are only now appearing in West Kent in any reasonable numbers and it will be a long long time before they reach east of Canterbury. I will be pushing up daises by the time they get here

cumbria by far, thousands of the buggers, but prefer to leave ours and shoot them north of the wall in bandit country

Bogy they should have employed a few poles ;) Malcom a we visit to the wildlife rescue centre and i am sure you would have enough roe in no time.

Always out on the fields when I pass m5 on way to birmingham from worcestershire

Shame I've got none of the land...
