Hello from the Teme Valley

Hello All,

I have recently moved back to my native Worcestershire following 5 years as a Senior Keeper in Epping Forest, Essex. Here I had the opportunity to assist with the management of the wild and park deer and completed my Level 1.

Not so many deer around here, just a few Muntjac on the farm I now manage.

My main deer related interests are tracking dogs (I have a teckel) and marketing venison to the consumer. I have thoughts of setting up a meat processing unit on the farm which could be used by stalkers who wish to sell their game on.

Welcome Johnathan
I manage quite a lot of ground in the Teme valley nice bit of country as you said mostly Muntjac but a few Roe appearing now.
We sell our bigger deer to a dealer and do most of the small one ourselves but may be interested in having a prettier job made occasionaly.

Good luck with your venture.
