Deer ID, open/closed season and Legislation for DSC1??

For the Scotland dates, if you look on the questions, you can mostly work it out with a few rules and a process of elimination (at least in the Feb 2008 edition)

Remember:
1. None of the dates are the end of Feb / start of March or the end of October / beginning of November (unlike England / Wales dates)
2. Dates for Roe are basically the same as England / Wales dates, except a few days earlier in October - 20th instead of 31st.

Rule 1 will get you through questions 77 to 80, rule 2 will get you through 81. You don't need to remember exact dates for the test, it's multiple guess...

Remember to go through and familiarise yourself with all the questions in the back, make sure you know what the correct answers should be before you do the test, if you're not sure, ask!

Hi Steve,
Four of us passed this weekend up here in north east Scotland .We "ALL" had the same worries as you. On the Saturday we had a revision day and shooting practise .As well as an identification session which taught how to go through the process of elimination and get to the point where it can only be one deer.
We had one guy with over 30 odd years of experience ,and another who had only been stalking a few months.
We all said that the self inflicted panic ! lol was worse than the test itself .I found the revision day was great for a confidence booster and to hit the zero target at 100/70/40 the day before you take the test does wonders .
With the excellent pictures people have posted and the amount of work your putting in ,I,m sure you will do just fine .
Good luck
George
