Dear disease, welfare and biology brethren,
I shot a 10 month old buck kid on Fri. The carcass, gralloch and lymph were normal except for part of the liver. The liver 'thumb' (don't know correct biological term for it) showed very minor marbling, the rest of the liver appeared normal, including the ducts. On inspection this marbling appeared to be either eggs or some very early larvae. Anyway, I took a picture to gauge what it might be, is this very early sign of liver fluke? Opinions and experience would be appreciated.
