This is a yearling 4 point buck I shot on Wednesday evening.
Can you guess his weight? (head + legs off, grollached, skin on)
you certain that's a yearling, have you checked if the milk tooth is still there?
in any case, if it is, it's a good looking beast, and I'd give it 21kg
Its definitely a yearling (actually about 10-11 months )
16Kg, What's the prize?
Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position
ah, head and legs off, just noticed that sorry - will revise estimate to 18kg please.
I think the fact Ive asked you to guess should be taken as an indication of something exceptional.
This buck had unfettered access to some of the best feeding you could imagine.
In edit. Ive checked the scales!
