RSPCA does it again

Raises one interesting point in the replies. Should the Royal warrant now be removed due to political activity? Otherwise the royals are promoting anti hunting activities and a lobby group. Remember the majority of funds now are allegidly used to promote political agendas rather than animal welfare. Jim

Totally agree with you as there is a clear political agenda from this "charity" organisation. The problem is it would be extremely difficult for the Royal family to disassociate themselves from the RSPCA. The RSPCA have the support of the vast amount of many ignorant animal lovers throughout the UK and for Her Majesty to pull the rug from under their feet (however much they deserve it) it would be political nightmare.

What idiots, talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

However, think of all the extra injured urban foxs they can now nurse back to health with £295k ! They could even unofficially release a few into the "wild" to die of starvation of over indulgence of livestock/game:doh:

The RSPCA describes itself as "the UK's leading animal welfare charity" and happily accepts donations UK wide, but only operates in England and Wales.

I have not donated them anything since they reportedly prosecuted a police officer spending £50,000 in the process, for dispatching an severely injured cat with a shovel there by ending its suffering. This life at any price idea employed by many of such charities is madness.

The RSPCA is part o the charity industry, money rules!
They won't care about this small piece of negative publicity because the country is full of idiots who will keep giving money to them no matter what.
Interesting thing about the Royals though, I wonder who would get the most negative publicity if the royal warrant were withdrawn? Royals or RSPCA?
Probably the Royals cos they would be painted as cruel fox-hunting animal killers by the urban "animal-lovers"
