Deathly Calm...

Some advice please...

I was out this morning early doors, and most unusually for Caithness, it was deathly calm. Not a breath of wind, nothing to drown the sound of the ground in the rides I was "sneaking" down squelching away noisily. Unsurprisingly, despite lots of signs of deer, there were pretty few to be seen. Has anyone any advice on what to do when it's really still?

Thought of that, tried it where possible, but most of the rides are quite twisty or overgrown, so theres a pretty limited line of sight for a lot of the time.

A lie in would have been a sensible option
