Competition ~ Free Hunting Trip to SA

    Dear Members,

For those who have not already seen my Article here it is:

South African Safari Report ~ 5th April - 12th April

In addition there is also this competition running ~~~

    The prize is this:

3 Full Days Hunting in Pongola, KZN.
    1 x Warthog
    1 x Impala
1 x Zebra or Blue Wildebeest

All accommodation / travel and meals.

All you need to do is get to Johannesburg Airport and arrange your trophies.

To win just guess the size in Inches to the nearest 1/2 Inch.

The correct answer is between 20 - 40 Inches. The measurement is the Rowland Ward Method and I am after the total Width of the trophy.

Please only enter this competition if you are NOT a PH, Outfitter or SA Citizen.

PM me all answers only one guess per person.

If there is more than one correct answer I will choose the winner out of a hat.

The competition closes on the 1st August 2012 at 12:00.

Good luck the prize will be memorable.

Hi Alex, I see you had a good time, I'd hate to think what it cost !!
With all the people on here doing Africa now, it's getting more like reading Sporting Rifle, not that I do any more because all it does is show me what is well out of my price range and makes me jealous
One thing I have noticed on all the pictures from Africa nobody is carrying a game bag or Roe sack

You are correct, Africa is not cheap especially when compared to hunting in the UK, however there are often some affordable options as long as you don't have your sights set on dangerous game or some of the less common antelope.

Maybe you could miss a couple of your yearly driven boar trips and take a look at Africa?

One thing is for sure its an amazing place and something, if its possible I would highly recommend you experience at some point. I certainly can vouch for it being worth saving for.

Hope your well. Always good to hear from you.

Thank you for the generous competition it's a wonderful chance for someone.

I will not be entering as there is no way I could raise the funds for the fares plus the required jabs could cause complications so where possible injections of any type are avoided.

I would guess about 38.5 inches at the widest width.
