I've been involved with shooting since i was about 7 years old, i was introduced to the sport by my dad when he bought me my first gun the "gat" which i'm sure started a few pople off shooting. A neighbour of mine was truely in to his shooting a took me under his wing where i went beating at his syndicate shoot in northumberland, 33 years later and i'm still going to the same shoot. I'm now a member/captain of the syndicate and this is where i do my deer stalking which i got introduced to be a friend (the shoot keeper). I enjoy my syndicate shooting pheasants, duck etc but it's a different experience stalking deer.
I currently own 3 rifles ranging from .22 rim fire, sako 243 and a very old parker hale 270. I have 3 dogs, fen, brock and teal all male labs. I use fen as my deer dog and he's helped me out on a few occasions in dense woodland finding deer. I also like stalking with him as he tends to sense the deer long time befor i see them.
