Can anyone tell me if Hornady Interlock bullets are expanding, therefore suitable for deer.
 
If the interlock bullet has a cannelure it is designed for hunting/deer, if it has no cannelure then it is a varminting bullet.

Oh yes, they do expand very well, never had anything go further than about 15 yards with them.

The 150gr 30cal shoots very well out of my rifle, grouped under 2" at 300m. It seems to have a very thin jacket, maybe better suited to slower speeds, say under 2900 ish.. ? just my guess.
Possibly ideal for 2400-2700fps, again my guess.
