    Devon does it best.

thought I better write a introduction as we are supposed to.

I'm a farmer from Devon who has always had more of an interest in Deer than cattle. Have worked in NZ on a deer farm collecting velvet, also did a season as a gillie in the highlands (Conaglen) for season and even did a few week-ends for John Fletcher when at Dundee Uni. I farm in a highly populated deer area, predominantly Red, but lots of fallow and Roe too although due to the lack of woods most deer I shoot in virtual darkness just as they are starting to come out to eat crops. The best job I have ever done is doing working in the highlands out stalking on the hill everyday with guests and I got to stay for 6 weeks of the hide cull.
I donít like trophy hunting as like to see big stags and bucks about, enough inferior stuff about to shoot. Had a few years were I haven't done much stalking and want to get back into it.
This seems like a very useful and honest website so I hope to learn lots from you all.
