Ah - TR140 - it has a SIMILAR rate to N140 ; though it is NOT made at the same factory
Brian Fox is one of the main UK stockists - and I know that the importer is one of the Bisley RFD's
Hope this helps. If you get stuck I can ask a couple of mates, as I got about 8kg of it at the start of the year for a couple of local shooters to try
Cheers but I have loads of the stuff just need the loading data
you can use N140 as a starting point, however you will need to work up the loads, I am not sure that you will find any exhaustive Data out there, other than this
"Politicians must be allowed to panic. They need activity. It is their substitute for achievement"
"'The matter is under consideration' means we have lost the file. 'The matter is under active consideration' means we are trying to find the file."
Email Nigel at commonside@compuserve.com he is the importer, his email address is actually on the side of the container. He sent me some information today on load data for .308 and 9.3x74r and will be getting back to me with load data for the 8x57irs when the manufacturer sends it to him.
Loading data for TR140
.308W 150gn bullet 46gns TR140

I'm waiting for the powder manufacturer in Switzerland to let me know what they
have on this cartridge.
9.3 X 74R

286gn bullet 53gns - 57gns TR140
300gn bullet 46gns -51gns TR140

It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.
I to am thinking of using it to replace imr 4895 in my .308 any advice much appreciated
so far I'm using it in .308 and 7.5x55, sticking with the stock N140 loads and it works fine, I haven't chrono'd the loads yet, however the accuracy is fine and the POI seems very close to the N140 load at 100m

Any one know a source of TR140 in the South? I've heard rumours that the importer is Bisley based, but that's all. Might be easier to reload with powdered unicorn horn.
Why don't you email the importer Nigel Cole-Hawkins at commonside@compuserve.com He appears to be a nice chap and very helpful. I am sure he will put in contact with local suppliers.
