    Stunning Day in the Borders

    Out looking for a Sika stag this morning, what a morning! for all the years i have had my ground iv'e never been their and scene such beautiful views as this morning! Not a lot of deer going about though just hinds and calfs.

    Was out this morning as well Von. Unfortunately we were a bit lower than you and the mist never lifted until 10ish. Then saw deer everywhere outon the tops! back out tonight again. Not a lot of whistling going on and never heard one last night.

    It was clear up my way from the start Brian, you could see your hill etc was also clear but thick fog every where else. Never heard any whistling either, still early days for me. Ive had my best results in second week of October.
