    Re adding a moderator

    I just had a thought as to why a rifle usually is more accurate after fitting one.
    Could it be that it replicates the Boss system from Browning in that alters the barrel harmonics?

    Don't take my word for it, but I believe it produces more even gas pressure around the base of the bullet as it exits the mod due to the way the baffles work inside the mod. It can go the opposite way if the mod is dirty from carbon build up on the baffles. For rifles without a mod, as well as harmonics, temp etc, if the crown of the barrel isn't uniform, accuracy will be irratic.
