Hi folks, I feel a bit of a fraud here, as I'm not a shooter - yet. As a keen outdoorsman for over 50 years, I've spent much time in the Highlands, particularly around Glens Einich and Feshie, as a result of which I'm very interested in the management of an area I love.
I know, and have witnessed, that control of Red Deer in particular is vital for the general ecology of this beautiful area, particularly for the re-generation of the Caledonian Pines. And now I'd just like to know more about an activity which is, to me, a central part of Highland life.
I'm based in Cheshire, so the only thing around here I'd really like to shoot are the b----y woodpigeons!
