BDS deer distribution survey 2011

When the BDS was first formed and an early survey done I put in an area where I had some Red stalking.
Within days a greedy pratt on the Committee was in touch with the owner to try to get the stalking for himself, fortunately the owner was happy with my management and put a flea in his ear.
That was in the early 60s and I was still shooting that area until a few years ago when I retired from the mountains following open-heart surgery.

HWH.

According to this i have sika and muntjac on my ground or near it but i have neither and none have been shot that im aware of or run over !

Interesting to see the Fallow distribution creeping into North Fife.

It was my understanding this was due to the escapees that swam ashore from Mugdrum Island in the Tay, easily identified by the tags in their ears!

Not heard of any reports of genuine "wild" Fallow in Fife, but maybe it is a well kept secret?????

Regards
