Following on from another thread, I bought a powder baffle for my RCBS Uniflow, a trickler and also Hornady comparator. Well, what a difference in powder volume consistency, fine adjustments with the trickler and as for measuring OAL on the ogive rather than to the bullet tip - it was a revelation!

This evening I have made up my first .308 reloads, starting at minimum load and going up in 0.5 grn intervals. Previously only reloaded .243 for target (and in total only reloaded 279 rounds) with very good results - looking forward to the range tomorrow! Also looking forward to my next time with my .243 to see if my grouping improves by seating the bullet to the ogive, not the tip.

I'm enjoying this reloading lark!
