A mate gave me a bit of old Series 3 Land Rover leaf spring, had it knocking around for a bit. Was looking at it the other day and had some divine inspiration!
This is what happened next:
That was the rough shaping, then onto details:
After a temper and a bit more tidying up:
Then the first polish:
It took a wicked edge, was cutting free hanging rope tied to a beam in the garage with it no problem.
Not deer related i know, but I'll gralloch a beast with it when it's finished just to blood it.
