my 1.9td puggy 306 hatchback is at her end. She has worn the clutch out, her heater matrix is sludged because the water pump is trashed, none of the door electrics work and her boot can't lock, she also needs shocks, a track rod end and steering rack. That's before an MOT finds more.

I think it's time to put her down but after 231,000 miles she was good to me. :-| It's now time to clean out the pockets, look under the seats and close the door for one last time. Good memories of all the deer she has carried...

It sound like the pug is ready to export to Nigeria.
My old nissan vannet went there in May it was bought of me through Gumtree buy a Nigerian living over here and was in a similar conditon!!!!!:cuckoo:

Deepest sympathies Paul :(

A good friend of mine drove a 306 (or it could have been a 206?) for years across fields in the pursuit of deer too. Apart from getting stuck in a collapsed cattle grid and dragged out of a couple of bogs by the farmer it was surprisingly agile. Rust, MOT repairs and the stench of deer finally made it non-economically viable I believe.

Funnily enough he's a teacher too
