I have recently come across this excellent site, and am very pleased to have been allowed to join up!
I first started stalking in New Zealand, and when I returned to the UK got an FAC for a .270 and did some shooting around the country, mostly Roe culling. I let my certificate lapse about ten years ago as I was moving around the country a lot for work, and didn't get the time to go out in the woods.
I started stalking again about 18 months ago with Charlie Green in Lyndhurst (Shavesgreen Shooting Services) - I would highly recommended his outfit - and definitely got bitten again by the bug!
My application went in at the beginning of January for a .270, .243, and .22LR with the Warwickshire Force - so with a bit of luck I'll have more than an airgun in the cabinet before long!
by the way, Bregalad was one of those talking trees in Lord of the Rings...
