hi guy's, whilst out and about today i,ve found a sparrowhawk with a damaged wing and carnt fly.

i,ve rang rspb who said ring rspca who said take it too local vets to basicly be put down, so was wondering if there is owt i could do for it i.e. what food do they eat that i could give it and does it stand any hope, other than wing it does seem in good health.

I can't help you out sorry on food etc, but if it was me and for it not making a full recovery and the worst happens I'd be acquiring a taxidermist assistance to do the stunning bird justice allowing it to perch pretty in my home.

Good luck with your H4H I'll certainly be bidding. Ive got my eye on one or two items already.

called in to see the bloke who picked the sparrowhawk up, well it's still alive and eating well. but he doubts it will fly again as when he was cleaning it's wound a piece of bone about 4mm came out of it wing where it was hurt,

but atleast it's still here tho.
