Hello all i have just recieved my latest batch of trichinella sampling kits from the food standards agency in preporation for the autum/winter.
While on the phone to the fsa the chap said the number of people sending in samples was steadily rising.
This got me thinking, how many of us are now routinely sending in samples for testing [ITS FREE BY THE WAY] or if you dont why is this ?Surely it can only be to the benefit of stalkers across the uk showing we have got our house in order and dont need anymore compulsory legislation.
For me this will be my fourth year and certainly puts my mind at rest when i am giving boar meat to my familly and friends.
However i no a few individuals and one game dealer in particular who dont bother which is a bit worrying as these animals are entering the food chain unchecked.
