I was very lucky this year and got a great Christmas present - 'Ultimate Venison Cookery' by Nicola Fletcher.
It's not your usual recipe book, although there are some really interesting recipes which I'll be trying out just as soon as the venison defrosts. It takes you though the history, butchery, preparation and even the science behind getting your venison to taste good.
