Tramblygoat says hello to fellow minded folk

    Hello all,

A quick rundown on who I am and what I like.

I'm an expat living in France. I always wanted to shoot in the UK but frankly unless you are a landowner it's just too painful. Now I'm able to do the sport that was always forbidden to me in the UK.

I shoot at my local rifle club - 50m range and 22LR maximum (it's outdoors and in the town centre so the noise is the issue). I also shoot at another range at 50m, 100m and 200m any calibre and weapon.

I also go hunting but not much as I only started at the end of the season.

    My rifles:

Sako Quad hunter Pro 22LR (too expensive to buy any other barrels....
    CZ455 22LR and 17HMR plus 2 moderaters.
    Browning T bolt 22LR,
    Krico 22LR
Mauser 45 (MAS 45). 22LR (old French army training rifle)

Tikka T3 super varmint 222 Remington - modified with GRS stock etc for range shooting.

    CZ550 Ebony Edition 7x64 calibre

    Mauser 94 7mm Rem Magnum,

    CZ-75 SP-01 Shadow, 9mm semi-auto pistol

    Browning B725 Hunter 12G

Plan to get a Schmeisser AR15 .223 when I get the next paperwork. (pistols and semi auto rifles and certain calibers require permission but for all the other rifles most sizes you just buy as many and what you like. The same for ammo. Buy as much as you want and all delivered by the post....

Anyway that's a very short run down on what I own/do shooting wise...

Look forward to reading the posts and interacting with you all.
