Does anyone know if the CZ452 stock fitment in .22wmr & .22lr are the same? Standard barrel, not varmint.

Someone has a nice thumbhole stock for sale but I'm not sure if it'll fit my wmr and since I recently sold the lr, I cannot check one against the other!!

Cheers

Nope. Different mag size if nothing else. You might be able to inlet a .22lr stock to take at .22WMR if you felt like it......

Mmmm thought it would be too easy!! Is inletting a big job? I'm pretty good with timber and we have a carpentry workshop at work,

Cheers

Not a straight swap, but not that difficult to make fit.
How hard depends on how the action screws on your WMR are arranged.
If you action screws thread into the action front and rear it is fairly easy, but if the front one is threaded
into the magazine well it is slightly harder to do, but far from impossible.
Whichever version you have it is at least material removal and maybe drilling a hole.

Neil. :)

PS: I just googled "bedding a cz wmr" top result was a set of pics I did
