    Incubator or broody in Sussex?

    Hi all,

Have my first egg from my mandarin ducks. It's their first lay and I don't totally trust her to sit on them. I have pencil marked the top of the egg, and intend to check she is turning it and laying more.

Was wondering if anyone locally had a broody or an incubator that I could borrow/hire, or if they could take the eggs to incubate etc....

    many thanks for any suggestions

I'd leave her be mate, let nature take its course, the eggs are far better off with the duck, at the end of the day, she will know what's what and deal with it admirably no doubt.

    Good luck with the eggs
