    Thermal imaging

Just watched last weeks Shooting show, it was obvious that the two stalkers where using a thermal imager , yet there was no mention of its use in the narration , cant help but wonder why?? is it becoming common practice???

I never see it! At what time do you see the thermal imager

I saw that as well. I went out with a stalker and brought my thermal imager, normally used for pest control. But I wanted to see how it worked on deer in the day and in a wood.
It was dark when we arrived and I was able to tell the shooter where the deer were in the wood..... As they walked away. But we also sspotted a doe in the daylight.
So we could tell there was a deer then we positively identified it with binos.
Is it sporting? Well that depends on your point. We didn't get anything close enough to shoot that day even with the thermal.
I can speak in-depth and with great knowledge about most subjects until some bugger who actually knows what he is speaking about opens his gob .
