[h=2]North Cotswolds Deer Management Group - first full meeting[/h] If you are a landowner, stalker or aspiring stalker active in the North-Cotswolds (Approx. all land North of the A40 and within the Cotswolds AONB) we would ask you to consider joining our fledgling Deer Management Group. For expressions of interest and an invite to our first full meeting on Tuesday the 4th. June 2013 (7.30PM, central North-Cotswolds location) please email north-cotswolds-dmg@hotmail.com with your name and contact details (Email + Mobile), and some brief details of who you are (landowner? Farmer? Stalker? Game-keeper? Deer-Manager?) so we can send you an Invite, Agenda and details of the venue location.

We have some interesting speakers lined up (Cotswold Conservation Board AONB, Deer Initiative, Police Wildlife & Rural Crime Unit -Tbc; and some others in the pipeline) and want to agree the future structure and direction of the DMG. There is currently no cost of membership and there are no requirements of a min. level of qualifications - what we are looking for is people who can positively contribute to our ethos of conservation and gentle management; cross-boundary cooperation between stalkers and landowners on a landscape basis; best practice; encouraging and supporting novices; and eliminating the usual inter-stalker rivalry and secrecy.
