This has really boiled my pee. If we were in france where the farmers are actually organised and support each other they would refuse to sell their milk to these supermarkets and spread it on their fields until they changed there policy.
The other thing that really pisses me off is that within the article they talk about organic meat, cage free chickens so they are happy to eat animals that have been through the happy stress free environment of the abattoir but they cant see that the relatively humane killing of badgers is protecting the livelihood of farmers and their access to milk and beef at prices they can afford.
Supermarkets jumping on the bandwagon in a cynical ploy to get customers by identifying their product as Badger friendly milk, are beneath contempt. Bryan May is a tool, but at lest he is doing what he does out of conviction not for profit.
