If you have a Roe sack with padded shoulder straps, carry it upside-down when it is empty!
The thin lower straps don't then conflict with your rifle sling like the padded ones do!
Seemples!
MS;)

Nice one. I was hiding mine in the wood before the stalk then going back for it after to carry the deer out, I'll try this.

The Monarch ones have buttons to tuck your rifle sling behind. If you are that way inclined you could sew a large button on where you want your rifle held.

Hi Stratts

The edge of the rifle sling can be pulled over the button so the pressure pushes the sling edge against the button.

However we have recently made a modification by adding sling retaining clips to all roe & sika sacks - you can see a pic on this linkhttp://www.monarchcountryproducts.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=60

If you send me a pm reminder of your address I'll send you a couple of clips out FOC.

Regards

Rob

Tape off a rectangle on the topside of the strap and smear silicon sealant into it.
stipple the surface a bit
allow to dry and your sling will never slip off.

your stuff wont fall out either!!
