    RTA Data

Does anyone have any fairly recent RTA figures involving deer in Scotland ( England too for information). Number of collisions, deer injuries/fatalities, human injuries/fatalities etc etc. Or is no proper record collated ?

No-one really knows. I have dealt with deer RTAs having being called by members of the public, the police and the RSPCA. I once discovered on myself and euthanased at the side of the road on my way to a midnight cow caesarian.

Unless there was a central means of reporting then no one will know for sure.

Section 161 of the Highways Act 1980 (England & Wales) makes it an offence to discharge a firearm within 50 ft of the centre of a highway with vehicular rights without lawful authority or excuse, if as a result a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered.
