Last saturday, I went past a second hand bookshop that I used to frequent a lot back in the day, and popped in for a browse. In the random books that no-one wants section, I spotted this work on hunting in Britain, mostly archaeological and ethnological in content.
Anyway, it looked quite interesting, but I couldn't decide whether it was sufficiently so to warrant spending £12 on it. Then I chanced on the following photo, and decided it wasn't: have a look at the caption.
