Well, I believed that you could never have too many jackets but in sorting out the wardrobe today I realised that I haven't worn this one since it kept me warm and dry up in Sutherland more than 10 years ago! I bought it when I lived in the US and it looks pretty much the same as the day it arrived, other than the hanging tag on the inside has come loose at one end.
Using Cabela's Dry Plus membrane means that it is waterproof (I have two other Cabela's jackets using the same material). It's also insulated with Thinsulate, so it's not exactly lightweight and would be ideal for sitting in a high seat. It comes with a zip-on/off hood and with ventilation zippers under each arm. The sleeves have an inner cuff with a thumbhole to ensure that they don't ride up your arms, but I never used them. It also has that many pockets that you will be more likely to lose stuff in it than run out of space!
It is sized XL-Tall - I am 6'2" and a 44 chest and it fits me with some room to spare.
If anyone is interested it's yours for £30 plus postage - I don't know how much the postage will be but, as I say, it's quite a heavy jacket so I would guess around £10 or so.
