I had a walk round a wood today where I saw Fallow droppings, adjacent to a nice field of grass where the cattle have been removed from.
Previously I have seen bucks in this area and on one or two occasions bucks and does. It is mainly an area for straggling or venturesome bucks rather than does.
So I'm thinking, this deserves a stalk or two.
I had also read that the bucks in the rut have tainted meat.
Is that so or an urban (or rural) myth?
