.243 1:10twist 23inch barrel loads

hi fibrewad , what are you wanting to shoot ? targets , deer , foxes , crows , mice ? every little information helps.

What some may not realise is that different makers use different rifling forms. In that the width of the lands may vary, number of lands and grooves may not be the same in all makes, any and all of these can effect the way in which a barrel or rifle handles the different bullets and loads.

Hence what may work fine in Freds barrel/rifle may not shoot well in Johns.

THE ONLY way to find out is to try them through yours ................................................. Sorry but there you go.

Good advice from see it shoot it using the internet and of course re loading manuals.. Decide on the bullet you want to try, find some Manufactures (bullet or/and powder) recommended loads and work one up until you find out which is best for your rifle. To simplify a later stated post find out your max OAL come back 50 thou possibly more depending on recommendations for that load and then work your load to suit your barrel. Most of all have fun doing it.
