reccomend me a decent mincer/sausage stuffer?

buffalo one is fantastic, had the argos anthony worrel one for a while but had to take it back wouldn't mince a thing.

honestly in my humble opinion I wouldn't go back to doing sausages thru my mincer......far far far better & less faff using 2 separate items

my mincer is the EI youngs mincer fae bushwear altho its a dam site more expensive now compared to when I bought mine, but that maybe an advertisement on its own.

again bushwear for the sausage stuffer.... they have an "economy " upright that does a fair bit and I cant fault it....both good bits of kit( altho they now call it deluxe)

weschenfelder I haven't used their kit but bout replacement blades and plates etc from them and their burger discs etc...good to deal with

try these also for consumables but they do kit too I think.....

good dealings with them.

if your only battering out odd little numbers now n again..... heres a link I found.....tongmaster again but ive never seen or used these wee stuffers before so don't know how they are

seriously tho...2 separate items....best bit o advice I can give from my experience.

Sauer is a bit of a mincer and a sausage jockey....there's no "meat" he canna process !

I have a cheaper unit directly from Germany off that rip off auction site. It does what I need it to but could be quieter.
£70

Think sausage jockey might have different meanings in different parts of the country....... unless that is what you meant LOL:-|

if your doing more that 1-2lbs of sausages get a Mincer and a proper sausage stuffer even if the mincer comes with the stuffing attachment

I ahve this Mincer (they have a good website to and i gett my seasoning and skins from them

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Digital-P...=UK_HGKitchen_SmallApp_RL&hash=item232d620fd2

and this Stuffer which does a 10lb load at a time

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170934407808?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

you can operate this stuffer single handed but a bit easier with 2

Heres the stuffer for size its not a small unit (tray is from Lakeland sold as a oven grill cleaning tray) thats about 2/3rds of the 10lb charge done so far in 26mm casings

Thanks for the replys chaps seems i need to up my budget from £200!

No you don't ! I bought one from Weschenfelder that Clarisa D wright recomended (she has the same one herself) and it costs under £200. It will mince a whole fallow deer faster than you can feed it in, unless your mincing over 30 deer a year I wouldn't bother with anything else, the Weschenfelder mincer that I bought is simply superb. The one I bought is the basic model with the red food grade plastic tray, don't be deceived, unless your running an industrial outfit then that will be way more than enough mincer and will last you for years and years.
