Irish Wild Boar?

are you getting any munchies down there...
I heard talk of one being run over on the road in Co Down somewhere.
wild boar hmmmmmmmmmm!!!! taste good on a spit...

There are certainly Muntjac in Down and Armagh, possibly Tyrone also. Muntjac have been shot in Wicklow and Carlow in the Republic.

This is the first I have heard of Boar other than the occasional escapee.

who knows 10 years from now , we could be getting the odd wild boar

We can only dream.

If there was a huntable population of boar here, I would never need to leave the island.... 8)

McStalk, where are you based?

Amir, they are behind the electric fence. Scoffed about 70kg of feed since I got them. I reckon they are 30-35kg each. I don't think they will live to see Easter..... 8)

Can't think in Lisburn, but Young Guns in Castledawson or Hollow Farm in Comber might sort you out.
