    Reasonable price for 2 rifles .308 & .17hmr

    Hi Guys,

Apologies if this is in wrong place but my Brother seems to think I would know a reasonable price for 2 rifles he wants to sell. Well I don't but I reckon there are a few out there that do, so any help would be appreciated. He is looking to sell just the rifles only, so to make me seem all knowing, what should he expect to get for?

    1) .308 Tikka T3 Hunter in wood. Has only fired about 30 bullets through it and only on a range so is in mint condition.

    2) .17 hmr Sako quad synthetic. Fired 2- 3 hundred times and in very good condition.

The simple answer would be 2/3rds of the new price, if these are relatively new rifles and in good condition. Simply look on Guntrader to get an average of what the new price would be.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

but be aware they don't always sell for what they are advertised at!

have a look on here at what has actually sold
