    Gunshop touring holiday

    Hello chaps,,,well this year we are not going to our normal holiday destination abroad as i want to tour around scotland with the roof down,,mrs also likes the idea and i have already bought her tartan min skirt.....So on said driving holiday i plan on stopping at as many gunshops as i can....the rout will be>>>>>berwick >douglas > Ayr > Loch lomand > loch ness > then prob head back down......
    could you please list any know shops around this rout please....

    Mcleods in Tain, about an hour North of Inverness is a nice place.
    The only opportunities you will ever get are while you are on the green side of the grass.

    You hear nothing but good things about Mcleods. Good selection of second hand quality scopes if you look on their website. It is a fair way up though.

    Berwick Bugger all there matey. Mind you could take the wife to Bedrocks night club, she'll be really impressed

    Dependent when your going Malc, JayB and JRoe might have some stalking available.

    Loch Ness was a massive disappointment. There are few cafe's that can ruin a jacket potato. There's not even a path whereby you can walk near the loch.

    Bushwear worth a visit if you are near.

    Section 161 of the Highways Act 1980 (England & Wales) makes it an offence to discharge a firearm within 50 ft of the centre of a highway with vehicular rights without lawful authority or excuse, if as a result a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered.

    try auntie wainrights ooops i mean tackle and guns glasgow or continental shooting dalry in ayrshire

    Glen Affric well worth visiting

    Not sure about gunshops, but you could drop in at PRS and see one of the foremost smiths in the country.

    Castle Gunmakers norham near Berwick on Tweed , and Borders Gunroom St Boswells.
