nice package my mouth is watering. bowhunting africa is somthing else very very addictive do you do spot and stalk as well as blind

I haven't actually bow hunted yet but can hold a good group with my 70lb bow , would you say a beginner would be suited to this ? what sort of distance do you generally shoot at ? I should say that I've stalked for over 20 years with a rifle.

Yes sir we do blind as well as spot and stalk!!

is there rules on bow poundage and broadhead type etc?

The minimum poundage for small game is 40Lb up and to blesbok, medium game 68lb up to giraffe. I use a 70lb with fixed blade nitron broadheads. enough killing power there.

tackb

shooting distance will be from 20 - 30 yards from blinds, even when stalking one would try and get as close as possible to these distances. that 70lb bow would be perfect. With your experience i wont see any problems. maybe spend a day or two in the blind and break the ice with the bow and get the confidence up, then take it on for some walk and stalk.

Best Regards

thanks for that , i'm confident to 40m with an apple sized target so 20 - 30 metres wouldn't worry me unduly ?

I can feel an argument coming on with the missus................

Looks really good. I'm looking for a new place to go next year as I'm off to the states this year for elk. I usually go to Benito's bowhunting near Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province. I'll keep an eye on your website and will be in contact when I'm looking to book. Can you do hunts for 14 days?
