I have a 5-gun carbinet and it doesnt seem right when I look into it and theres a free space. What should I get? I have decided it should be another rifle.
I have now:
Brno 270W with Karl Kaps 2,5-10x56. - For allround use from fox to roe to wild boar. Well it can do it all.
22LR - Mainly for target practise and cheap shooting. Also for crows, magpies and pigeons.
And then I have 2 shotguns in 12/76.
So I guess what I need is a backup for my 270W if it ever should not function.
I see no idea in getting big calibers such as 9,3x62. Because I mainly shoot roe, and should I get a chance to hunt red, fallow or wildboar the 270W would do it good.
My Brno 270W and x56 scope is a bit heavy, so a lighter alternative could be ideal. Maybe a syntetich rifle in 223? Could be an ideal roe caliber. Maybe 6,5x55? Hmm decisions decisions.
What would you get?
