Pereque Doe

I was watching a doe by the pheasant feeders tonight and decided to add her to the cull. I took the shot from about 60m and she legged it  Got the dog in and he found it about 40m away in cover. When I approached the animal for a moment I thought I had made an error as it clearly had growth on top of its head that I had not seen through the scope or binos and I could have bet my mothers life that I had clearly seen a tush! I quickly checked and a tush she had. On graloching she seamed to have all of the normal internals for a female. I will get some pictures up tomorrow in the day light.

I have seen a few posts on the internet about this sort of thing in the past. How common is this? Just out of interest she was a big animal and made 45lbs head and feet still on.

That's interesting, although I would not call it a peruque.

I guess its caused by hormones. Too much testosterone?
In a deer's world she's just like a woman with mustache

Stag, you never cease to amaze us.
Is that one of yours?
If so, what made you mount the skull and a picture of the doe?
basil.
