Arrow

Think it might end up being treated like the photon, market it and then get the juices flowing and then not be able to keep up with demand. So you might be in for a long wait.

There are other out there and more on there way. It just seams light SC are better at marketing. Bit like vhs and betamax. Betamax by far better but a bad marketing ploy

Hello, reading with interest, we launched the Arrow for Starlight at the BSS in February and we have been taking deposits for the unit, making clear that they are anticipated February March however we are unable to give a firm date.

We were told at the BSS that the units would be ready at the manufacturers 18 working days from the event, and although this schedule hasn't been accurate to date, however I had an update email from Starlight on the 18th informing us that they aimed to ship them from the manufacturers the following Monday, and I had a call yesterday to say that Starlight were doing the final assembly now.

As a retailer we are at the mercy of the manufacturer in terms of delivery lead times.

We have taken deposits from customers to secure one of the first batch of 25, and this is completely open for cancellation at any time by the customer as we have been open with regards to delivery dates.

Should you wish to speak to Starlight to confirm any of the above you can do so on 01942 884378

We have much more than 25 on order now but should anyone not wish to wait any longer, they just have to call us.

As for the Photon, we personally have had plenty of stock sitting on the shelves and have been selling daily, with regular stock replenishment since Xmas.

Oh and we have production units for people to play with at the Deerstalking Fair this weekend should you wish.

We will also be offering the Arrow on our 7 day trial at home demo service as soon as stocks arrive.

As the manufacturer we can confirm that we have today started the process of assembling Arrows, very soon the first batch will be rolling off the production line.

I can understand your concerns, here was the hold up, we passed drawings to the mold makers who modelled the plastic flow and asked for drawing changes, we would make the changes, they would re-model and recommend another change, this dragged out a while until they were satisfied, they added about 6 weeks to what we were estimated to manufacture the tool.

The first delivery of the injected moulded parts has arrived, we are starting to fit the boards.

Best regards,

Starlight.

Absolutely, you will see it in Episode 7 of The Night Vision Show, and all our product images online will be updated after the British Shooting Show.

Starlight Arrow's being finally assembled at Starlights UK production line.

We have been informed and CONFIRMED that we will have stock on the shelves 7-10 days from now.

All seems **** poor, why not actually have them made and ready rather than advertise them months in advance anything can go wrong..
Design, manufacturer, rigorously test them, then market them..
Seems these are getting flung together asap, whilst people have there money sat waiting in other peoples accounts...

because they are sitting on shelves as money spent but not recovered
simple economics

follow the Ferrari principle
"always one less car than you can sell"

Why do that when they can use our money for development, and us as testers, it's the modern way.

Neil. :)

We have taken a £50 deposit from people to secure one of the first batch of 25 we have ordered, made it perfectly clear that they can cancel at any time, so been fair with taking orders as we are getting the first 25 units from Starlight, so anyone preordering secures that they get one of the first ones made.

Those first 25 sold quickly so we now have 100 on order.

Delivery times are entirely out of our control, and something that we have been completely open with.

We have also advertised the unit at great cost in hunting press etc, so taking a £50 deposit personally I think is a fair ask for our commitment to stock and advertising.

I fully appreciate lead times are frustrating and as we were told we would have stock with us February, we are at the mercy of the manufacturer when it comes to delivering to end users.
