uk scent hound association. which is set up to track and find wounded deer or boar throughout the uk and scotland free of charge for anybody who needs help.
We are working to the european way of tracking to a high standard for each handler and dog.
we are sponsored by clark forest and pfanner and have the backing from VH and KGBS which members from each society where present.
I was glad to meet everybody at kelso and i believe that everybody who we spoke to agreed that stalking in the uk needs a tracking group to help when deer are lost and wounded.
people in the uk have deer dogs and some don't, sometimes deer are lost even with a well trained dog but specialist tracking dogs are here to help find lost deer.
we have a long way to go to change the uk mindset but slowly people are starting calling and using this free service and things will gather pace, everything is in the strictest of confidence for the people using the service and the grounds we track on.
over the next few weeks we will put up more information regarding UKSHA, pictures to follow for all those who couldn't make it to kelso,
thanks in advance
